The endless train tracks cutting through the country. I also have a horizontal cut, and they are both also in black and white. Fun edits of these pics will be up soon.
The gorgeous Kweebani Cave, Binna Burra, Lamington National Park. Set out on this walk quite late. The people working at the hotel were quite concerned at the late departure, but I made it there at the perfect time. I spend so long here, it was only later, after it had gotten dark and as i was leaving, that this wasn't the main part of the cave. Facepalm. But with the cut out entrance (first pic) and the overhang, i liked this one quite a bit better. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any shots of the main part of the cave, neither of which is a proper cave but better defined as an overhang, because it was full darkness, so that's one for next time, but i really enjoyed my first time night hiking, or "niking" as I've affectionately called it. :)
This was such a random sight. The hull of a burnt out boat, with no trailer quite far off the side of a dirt road on a mound. I just couldn't resist taking a shot. Or two.
There was a tonne of these beautiful wallabies on the mountain that is Koolabyn and a few of their bigger cousins, the kangaroos, too. How I wish I could just take home every furball I find. :)
